It has the right level of warmth for an active day on the trail. It can be worn with a tech tee on a dry day or under a waterproof when it's raining. We've made it lightweight to not drag you down and packable so it doesn't take too much room in your backpack. It's all about maximising your enjoyment, all year round.

Really lightweight, and thin, HOWEVER its warmth to weight ration surpasses its lack of bulk. I took a chance and bought this in the sale, and very glad I did. This is super packable in a side back pack pocket or a waist pack ( mystery ranch hip monkey 8 litres, and room to spare ! ) it looks really well made and finished well. I’m hoping it will be durable. It fits under my waterproof and I ordered medium as a size 12,with room to layer a tee and fleece under.. it’s wind resistant too, so that’s a useful bonus.
All in all, I recommend this jacket as a multi purpose layer and the fact it’s scrunchable into a really small space and doesn’t weight much at all so can be included at no extra weight, but the gains of carrying this versatile jacket are plenty. A good bit of kit for all seasons, all hills as a layering system, walks by the sea, cliffs, and everywhere from town to country. Washes like a ribbon and low tumble dry or airing cupboard dry and it’s good as new.
Like the colours as most of my hiking kit is made up of blue tones, but had wanted to order another colour, which I just might as it’s still in stock and on sale…

Only just got it but seems like the perfect jacket for the mid-season. It's lightweight, warm, and have already worn it ion a rainy day, seems good for a shower. Ike the colours, and the size is good (if you are size small usually, do get small, it's on the larger side).
