Overview
The Sandstone is a lightweight, durable short built for off-grid hikes, bouldering and bikepacking trips. Crafted from a stretchy ripstop fabric, we’ve worked the length so they sit comfortably when pedalling and we've designed the waistband so it sits a little higher at the back to stop them dipping when on the bike, climbing wall or trail. A go-anywhere adventure companion, purpose-built for the roamer.

I love these shorts. I’m 5’2” so the cut is just above my knee. Pop button and fly fastening with elasticated waist. 4 pockets - hooray! Lightweight material that has been great in the current heatwave. I would buy these again in different colours.
I don’t think the adjustable tightener comes completely undone easily so if I was larger on the thighs, I might struggle with pulling the shorts over them. I’m anything between a size 12 and 16, usually buying 32” waist bottoms (and which for women, the actual garment size often measures 35”) The zip pockets are maybe an inch too small for my phone (iPhone 15 pro) so I have to angle my phone horizontally and push it right down to get the zip done up. If I partially do up the zip with my phone sticking out, it slowly unzips as I walk. I don’t think the fit is as nice with the zips undone. And if I use the lower cargo pockets, the weight of the phone as I walk makes it swing and bash my legs. Despite the cons where I admit I am being super picky here, these are still my current favourite shorts!

I loved these as soon as they arrived. They fit great but have adjustable tightener on the waist if needed. 4 sensible pockets. Lack of decent pockets on women's shorts drives me crazy but these are great. Perfect for keys, phone, money and I can fit a small squeezy water bottle in too. They are super light, quick drying. More colours please (I'd especially love to see the women's fit in khaki). Regular fit. I'm a UK 14(12-14), ordered L, really comfy. Worn on long hikes already and they're very comfy in the heat.
